Posted on Remove water rings from finished furniture

I understand these tips, but the stains/spots have been there at least 20 years. Are they still fresh enough to consider that you are removing water? I know of alcohols affinity for dampness and water. I really hate to try to strip and refinish this furniture as the legs are deeply carved 5 X 5” units.
