Guy, you can purchase cut nails from the Tremont Company in Massachusetts. A google search will return the result. You can order over the internet or call them.

The trick with cut nails is to orient them correctly with respect to the grain. They are wedge shaped and will damage your project if oriented wrong. Oriented correctly, they will hold better than modern nails (at least better than the ones with out a surface applied adhesive.
