I used to use the Rockler system mentioned upthread (It’s called Dust Right, here are some of the items ) before I had my permanent system put in. I connected my portable dust collector to the handle and put the ports on my tools. It worked well and it was easy to move from tool to tool. If you decide to go this route, I am no longer using the parts that I bought and could sell them to you for less than new cost. I have the handle, a handful of 4” ports and I think two 2.5” ports.
