I don’t know about the sizes, but I have been asked by the girl in the booth next to me if I could make her a big crochet hook that worked good and did not tear the yarn like the plastic one she had. so I made a wooden one from a 5/8 dowel 8” long. I got it real smooth and a good radius inside the hook. I’m just waiting for her to try it.
I’ll try anything once!!.
I have a hand full of my wife’s Boye brand aluminum hooks and an N = 9mm , K =6 1/2mm , J= 6 mm ,F = 3 3/4mm, D = 3 1/4mm. The biggest one is 3/8” plastic and has no markings The higher the letter the bigger the diameter.
