My dad had an OLD 8” all metal Skil, about the same, if not older. Never got zapped using it, but it was a load to carry around. Still in his basement, BTW.

I had a Sears Craftsman 7-1/4 all metal one ( a FREEBIE, no less) and now I have a trim saw. Might even have a set of brushes IF they were to got worn out. Sears one did not have a case, though. Bummer.
