Thanks for the comments folks. I believe you all pretty much validated my point. LJ’s is more community focused where our comments and actions affect the group as a whole. And, I might add, this site does much better when we all act accordingly. I have facebook and it is useful in its own way for keeping relatives updated on events. However, I couldn’t help but notice the irony over Thanksgiving, when everyone’s head was stuck in a phone app or computer. Most of them ignoring each other because they were on Facebook. I find the term “social networking” an oxymoron when it is used like that :)
