Idaho is a big place. Are there any Habitat for Humanity stores nearby? I was in one and they had pallets of hardwood flooring for $2.00 bd ft. Even unfinished Oak at Lumber Liquidators is fairly cheep. A planer would be really helpful. Home Depot is closing out the Dewalt DW734 models pretty cheap. I was just in Lowe’s and they had their DW734 marked down to #369. It opens up a whole new world to things you can build when you can determine the thickness you need. Crates anyone?
