You guys reminded me. In my dad’s old furniture shop, the new guy in the carpentry area would get jointer duty. They start their first day with a scrawny or chunky physique. After a 6 months, they were chiseled from stone.

I remember those days. No one wore dust masks, there wasn’t a dust collector, no one wore eye protection, and we’d have a finger altering accident every year.

That Jointer reminds me of those days except there isn’t a 2 foot tall pile of shavings in back of it.
