As production mgr. of a shop that builds from reclaimed lumber, this post is close to my heart.
We de-nail, resaw, skip plane, joint, etc.
Lots of old ( as in REAL OLD ) pine, white oak, etc.

I question leads to mine. How rough do ya want the beam to be in application?
