If I can’t feel the wood, then I have gone too far with finishing the pen I am making. I go no finer than 12,000 grit (micro mesh) followed by EEE Dura Shine and leave it at that. What’s the use of making a wooden pen if you can’t feel or touch the glory of the wood?
