Late to the game here… but I just recently paid $650 for a 8 inch Powermatic from the 60s/70s. It needed some work (bearings, belts, cleaning up, etc) but I figure it’s a lifetime tool so even if I paid a little too much it gets spread out over the next 40 years. Not a big deal. I say you got a good deal if it meets your needs and you’re happy with it.

I’m curious which mobile base you ended getting and how do you like it?
