I have found all of their claims to be the case, and in an industrial setting. I noticed my sharpen times doubled with consistent use, barring abuse. I spray the ts blades each time they are taken off (several times a day in this shop) and all other bits and blades as well.
And no, I don’t work for the company.

In the case some build up happens, like the a fore mentioned cedar, it wipes off with a cotton shop rag, no other sprays needed. Try it and see, is what I would recommend.
