Posted on Biscuit joiner for spline cuts?

I wasn’t planning on using biscuits for the splines, I’d cut splines to fit the slot. My corner jig idea is above – just a piece of ply with two pieces of hardwood set at a 90 degree angle, thicknessed to match the frame thickness. Glad to know this isn’t a crazy idea.
