Jerry , you can run sticking on it all day long with the 1/4 hp. I have been raising panels (dedicated) for several yrs. with it. Two passes however. I normally do that anyway, depends on material, etc. There has never been a power problem with the 1/4 hp, just slips a little on occassion due to lack of physical weight. I keep surfaces waxed well anyway. I think I payed about 500 plus for the feeder alone. Yeah, its a no brainer for sure. I have paid for that machine many times over. The only reason I have a couple of 1/4 hp feeders is that I was sorta maxed out on 220vac at the time. I was a little apprehensive until I put em in use. Surprised me ! I could get it to Austin easily, one of my brothers goes 2-3 times a month to roundrock to see grandkids.
