Hard to answer your question because other than recoat times and VOC’s Minwax poly whether oil or waterborne dry in 24 hours. Minor differences in chemical ingredients may affect how apply & actual cure times. Other than checking ingredients on can label or product MSDS not sure how to tell differences.

Prices vary between brands, Cabot & Rut-Oleum less expensive while Varathane and other brands maybe more expensive.
