Supposedly the Stanley Sweetheart line is supposed to be good. I own one of the shoulder planes, which is OK, but it did come with a damaged screw (screw did not have an slot for the screwdriver to turn it). My attempts to contact Stanley failed, so I ended up cutting my own slot in the screwdriver. So, if you try one of their tools, be sure that you can return it. I took a chance on one of their chisels, which seems to be working well (Lee Valley does not offer a 1/8” chisel in their new PM-V11)
