sonnyr—This happened to me with an older PC 690 in the wood shop at the local TC … turned out there was some debris in the base that kept me from getting a good solid bite and the vibration while routing was enough to allow it to creep.

Check the motor and base, then check the collett and make sure the bit isn’t moving on you.
