grfrazee- that’s where I had seen the pattern on the lever caps before, thanks. ! No telling what happened to the original blade and lever cap.

CharlieM1958 – the lateral adjustment lever has “STANLEY” stamped on it.

So it looks like the body/frog are from a type 8 & the lever cap was borrowed from a transitional plane..

It is still something I may derust & finish when I have time-I just need to get a blade & lever cap.
