It’s interesting because I was in my local Home Depot last night and I happened to notice the the price on 3/4 inch “Sandply” (Chinese stuff) plywood was $43 and change per sheet while 3/4 inch Birch (stamped American made) was only $41 and change per sheet. The Birch looked like a much nicer product. The faces was much better. Couldn’t tell anything about the plies by looking at the edges. I was just shocked that the Sandply was more expensive than the Birch. I was hoping that perhaps tariffs were working. Anyway, my two cents. Cheers. -- Dave; Lansing, Kansas |
