The citrus stripper I used had a separate bottle of neutralizer. It should tell on the label. If not then wipe them down with mineral spirits and let them set for 24 hours before staining. Years ago I saw a fellow that didn’t let his sit for 24 hours and his finish bubbled up as I remember it. Whatever happened it wasn’t good. The instructor told him he did wipe it down and let it dry over night.
