The Delta is a 52-965.
Now I’ve seen these around with 3/4hp motors, but I’ve also see a couple with 1.5hp motors which was maybe an upgrade option? I don’t know. The young man I spoke to on the phone about this particular Delta said he “thinks it’s a 3/4” but he’s basing that on an old Delta advertisement or something. Not looking at the saw’s motor. So I don’t know the motor size.
I can only see the saw in the CL listing. It looks pretty clean, actually, but I don’t see any mention of a fence nor did the guy indicate there was one. If I go see it, with cash in hand and assuming it runs ok, offering him $250 for it. From what I’m seeing, if it’s the 3/4hp and has no fences, then $250 is reasonable (I think… I don’t know… that’s why I’m here on LJ! hehehe). The other one I mentioned for $450 has 6 new blades, a riser kit and the fence(s) for it AND it’s only a couple years old. The one I linked above was bought around 2001 he thinks.

Maybe I should just go look at it. If I insult him with a $250 offer then…..sorry, but he actually advertised this saw back in August as well and it’s not moving at $500 for sure.
