Thanks everyone.

I’ll put this to rest by adding it to my projects and posting it properly.

This project is going to be hung up in one of the hallways at work, hopefully to drum up a little business. I was emailed by someone yesterday who said he thought I only did cutting boards…my bad. Cutting boards are the easiest thing to push at Christmas time but now with me advertising my website and being able to put it on a small poster hanging on one of our bulletin boards, it’s starting to draw a few more curious people in. He is interested in the chess/backgammon or chessboard with storage I have made but I think he’s staggering from a bit of sticker shock and will ‘get back to me’ after talking to his sis (gift for his Dad).

As this is going to be hanging in a very public (work public) area, I didn’t want to take the chance of having something happen to a very expensive chess set. This one is a $12.99 special from Toys R Us.
