Quite innovative indeed.

A few years ago I read an article about a Japanese architect that built a small span bridge from corrugated cardboard over a small stream and it included a picture of a car parked in the center of the bridge.

I have also seen pallets constructed of corrugated cardboard.

It’s quite ridged if you can keep it dry.
