Posted on Anybody have experience gluing leather to your wood project?

Cut it first. Thinner chrome tanned leathers tend to be stretchy but
if you use a caul the wrinkles will be pressed into the glue and the
shape will glue down more or less as you cut it out.

White or yellow glue is fine for wood-to-leather. Leather-to-leather
works best with contact cement formulated for leather gluing.
