I wouldn’t worry much about the tape that comes with the T-2. They are very easy to replace.

When I put my T-2 on my Ridgid I just marked the area where it went on the rail and ordered a couple of nice Starretts metal tapes to replace the one on the T-2 once I mounted it.

How to find 0?

Unplug the saw, remove te blade guard, raise the blade all the way up and nestle the fence to the blade. I took a square and marked a pencil line on the rail even with the cursor line, took the fence off and put my tape down and then used those minor adjustment screws to make it dead on.

Your wil be happy when you get it mounted and its not as daunting as it seems at first.
