Look on my website. I drilled holes for my Ridgid fence in the cast iron wings. It was very easy and did not compromise the integrity of my saw. You will need to spray some WD-40 on the drill bit while you are drilling to dissapate the heat.

Clamp the rails in place and mark your holes to drill then.

The fence upgrade is worth it.
