MFT really excels at work holding, not breaking up 4×8 sheets.

When I was doing some cabinet work on an MFT, I would break
down 4×8 with a TS55 on a pair of sawhorses with a pair of
2×4s laid across them for crosscuts. When the whole sheet
needs to be ripped in half, add another pair of 2×4s so each
half of the sheet is supported.

I never ripped on the MFT, I just used it for crosscutting. It
works well for squaring pantry sides and other long panels
under 25” wide.
