Sorry, you did not specify that you were using a postformed top. Glue the end caps, rout and file. (mica knife makes short work of it along with a file.) File judisiously, that postform is .035, not very forgiving. I recomend a bullet bit running on an oiled edge and if your top is already installled you can clip the laminate wth end cutters where the router base does not allow you to get all the way to the wall, then file.
