I think it depends on your taste and any furniture you already have. I think of slabs as “typically” early American so you might consider turned legs that are moved toward the corners to form an isosceles triangle. However, you could also make a base from square tube iron welded to the shape of your preference and powder coated in a suitable color if you like a more modern look. Or you could make a large diameter cylinder with a foot under it to serve as a pedestal if that looks better to you. I am certain others will have more/better suggestions. -- Art |
