I have never liked B&D but not for the reasons mentioned above.

My main reason for dislikng B&D is the extremely poorly designed batteries and chargers which, shouldn’t, but end up in our landfills due to customer dissatisfaction. In most cases the batteries cost nearly as much as the product and are difficult to replace. The only good B&D tool IMO, is the workmate.

And, also some STUPID products; the battery operated tape measure, the battery operated C clamp, the battery operated crescent wrench, maybe more I don’t know about.

Perhaps being part of Stanley will change this!
