A contractor saw to another contractor saw is kind of a lateral move; Steel City makes a true cabinet saw with 1.75HP motor (110v friendly). I’d save for a bit longer and go for that.

If it has to be one of the two you listed, the steel city would be my choice for the cabinet mounted trunions, but the ridgid is a fine saw too.
