I am going to buy a 3.0hp PCS within the next week or so as an upgrade from my Craftsman. Right now I am using a Freud Diablo 40t combination blade. Is the blade that comes with the sawstop ok? My bonus wasn't quite as much as I thought it was going to be, so I am going to have to wait for either the mobile base or an aftermarket blade. Anyone have experience with the blade that came with their PCS?
It's not a horrible blade. I used it for a while until I got some other Forrest/Freuds. Actually when I bought my PCS they had a free 2 blade promo going, and those blades (gold colored) are better than the OEM. But honestly, OEM isn't a bad blade. You'll be fine.
How's $18 plus s/h sound for a good US made full kerf general purpose blade that'll give your a WWII a run for the money? The Delta 35-7657 is being clearanced by Cripe Distribution for less than a nice lunch, but does a surprisingly good job.
