I also work in a garage that has to do double duty as an actual garage. We have the plastic diamond plate on the floor and I hate everything about it. It makes it a pain in the butt to roll the machines back and forth from their storage positions to work positions. Looks good at first but doesn’t take long before it starts looking ratty. Fortunately, we are planning on moving soon where I hope to have a dedicated work space. I can guarantee that the next time around I will use an epoxy floor because it’s easier to clean and move machines. I’ll address the comfort issue with anti-fatigue mats in front of the major work positions.
