Sawkerf, LOL, as long as I don’t have to deal with the noise…. Actually it will be in a storage shed so the noise should be reduced even for the neighbors :)

As far as getting the harmful dust out of the shop, I think it will be an evolving process over the next couple of years. Along with the greatly improved DC I will also be working at improving the dust collection hoods at each of our machines. It sure will be nice to eliminate the vast majority of all dust / chips.

Anything to start with will be a great improvement though. Currently our only DC is a 2 hp Grizzly and it is only used for the planer, shaper, drill press and drum sander. It does capture most of the large chips from those machines but several other machines in the shop have no dust collection at all such as the 3 table saws, the 2 RAS and the 2 slider miter saws.
