I can’t speak for the other brands, but all of my doors were made using Freud bits. You can see a few of them in my projects.

One of the critical needs that the Freud bits are designed to fill are long tenons on the rails. Interior doors aren’t like cabinet doors where the stick and cope profiles fit together and glue is sufficient to hold it. There’s too much weight involved. The cope bit on the Freud set is designed with a removable top cutter so you can cut as long of a tenon as you want. The top cutter is only left on for milling rails and stiles for side lights and transomes that don’t carry a load.

Again, I can’t speak for the other brands. Perhaps they have a similar feature, but Freud does for sure and it works we’ll.
