I have an assortment of diamond sanding files and small files from Harbor Frieght. I also have plastic sanding sticks with sanding belts on them here’s one source:

I use the nail files, emory boards, sanding string and I have a sanding strip I can put on my scroll saw. I also have used sand paper wrapped around small scraps of wood. My favorite is my Dremel multimax with the triangle sander or a sanding finger that I adapted from a Rockwell sanding finger.
