My understanding is that you need to make a tall aux fence for your saw. Set the fence 1/4 away from the blade and tilt your saw blade to 12 degrees. Make sure your fence is on the keeper side of the blade. This is for 1/2” pannels ( I am digging into my memory from one of Norms episodes it could be a 3/4” panel. The resulting tongue should fit into the 1/4” groove in the door frame.
