I retired two years ago from the Air Force and I found it’s a big pain in the butt to move all my hobby items. The best thing I can suggest is take on a small woodworking hobby. I had a Mini Lathe, a bench top drill and the associated tools to go with them. I made pens and other goodies for a while. But remember most installations do have Wood working hobby shops.
If anything Keep all your hand tools and just get rid of the buly items. You’ll want those tools when you settle down. I have a 20 year old PC router that I bought and it traveled with me around the world and back.
Also get yourself promoted so you get the bigger wieght allowences and bigger house to put your stuff in :)

GL and thanks for your Service!
