I am still pinching myself because I think I am just dreaming. I am so excited, not only at the haul, but I am also actually looking forward to taking my time and restoring and installing into service the equipment. I am especially looking forward to restoring the PM66 and I plan to take my time and try to get it done as good as I can.

Thanks for the inspiration photo Knottscott! I will post progress pictures. It will be a slower restoration as I plan to restore as I have some extra funds. Our current saws work fine and this saw will be very usefull when I get it ready, but for now I am going to patiently enjoy the project.

Many more pics to come.

So here is the final reciept for what I purchased today. The prices to me seem unreal but maybe that is just how things go at auction. Also noteworthy, while there were likely 30 or more in attendance, none seemed to be woodworkers or in the cabinet trade. For the most part it seemed attendees were there to buy strictly for resell so they did not want to drive prices high.

Oh, and there was some oliver equipment that went cheap also but the shear weight of those pieces intimidated me. There was actually a Oliver Bandsaw that made my PM bandsaw look like a toy. :) And an Oliver planer that I actually regret not bidding on. But it was a great day…
