Last few deals

Ritter Edge sander. It has access both sides. Boy is it going to require some work cleaning it up. It is very good size. I know very little about this but we have needed an edge sander like yesterday. We ROS all of our edge work which is much more time consuming. I actually got this machine for 95.00. I guess no one wanted it. Some minor adjusting and cleaning and maybe some white lithium greese it should be good as new. I checked the motor and it is a 1.5 hp Leeson single phase. I was surprized the motor is only rated for 1.5 hp because the machine is very large and has a very large work space, I think the exposed belt sanding area is around 60”. I still need to research this machine but to me 1.5 hp seems small. However, Ritter is known for more industrial quality and typically cost a good bit.

Last, but not least, I purchased this Powermatic bandsaw. I only purchased it for resell. I believe it is either the 20” or 24”. It is very very large and extremely heavy. I think it is the 24” version. Woodcraft has this bandsaw listed for 4,800.00 or so. It does not have a blade with it but believe it or not, I purchased it for 75.00. I was totally expecting to pay much higher. When I raised my ticket at 75.00 I was stunned when the auctioneer said, “going once, going twice, sold to #3 for 75.00”. So my expectation is to sell this bandsaw for hopefully more then 660.00 that was the total I paid out today at the auction. Before selling this machine I am going to inspect, align and install a blade and ensure it is in good running condition in order to get my maximum asking price. I am thinking about listing it on Ebay for local pick up. It is fairly clean condition.
