I would go for a 1/2” blade with less than 3 tpi. 3 tpi is good but a 2 tpi blade works better for re sawing. Less no. of teeth in the set is recommended when resawing large boards. Bigger gullets would mean bigger space for sawdusts to come out of the blade. It would be better to go for carbide tipped blades
