well i ended up getting it. offered him $300 and he asked for $310, he was a nice guy and appeared to have taken care of the saw, so i gave it to him. though that was a fair price for a nice saw. it came with everything it came with new from what i can tell. it actually started to sprinkle as soon as i got in the driveway at home, so grabbed a tarp and covered it until i got help to unload it. which is no small feat getting it into/out of my superduty. getting it into my basement took just a bit more then i was expecting. had to take the motor off the back to get it down the 5 steps into my split foyer basement.

Once i got it down there, first thing was to clean it off the best i could and get a good coat of wax on the top. next thing was to take off the ORIGINAL ridgid blade and put on my freud 50 tooth rip blade. i really think that was the first time that ridgid blade was off the saw. but once i got the freud on there, tested it out and it cut just as slick as I was hoping! the blade, fence and mite slots line up as close as i can measure them. Next thing was to see if my outfeed table would work (the outfeed table designed after the one from the woodwhisperer…). it was made to line up with my dewalt jobsite saw, DW744x i believe (which is the saw this is replace). so now that very nice jobsite saw will only be used for what it was originally made for, the jobsite….... anyhow, the outfeed table was about 1” too short, so had to make some leg extension for it, which took me about 10 minutes. after that, looks just perfect!!

thanks for all the advice guys! this is the saw that i’ve been trying to find for at least 6 months, and ended up finding it literally about 7 miles from my house in just great shape. Now, first project, is that set of night stands i’ve been telling my wife I’m gonna make for the last 3 months…...
