Posted on Reinforcing small gaps with more glue?

I’m not worried about dropping things into the gap. The gaps are largely in the underside of what will eventually be a 8-ft-by2-ft workbench top. The only thing holding the boards together is glue. Glue should hold just fine, but gaps mean there are places where the boards are not glued together and I’d like to make things as secure as possible—if not for me, for my kids and (possibly future) grandkids.

-- More tools, fewer machines.
