I don’t want this to sound like I’m bashing the HF unit, because it’s a great deal under some conditions and the perfect unit for some folks. But comparing it to the Grizzly is not a direct comparison. Unless they changed it, the HF is more like a 1.5HP motor (HF magic makes it 2 HP) and has, I think, a 10” impeller. The Griz is listed with a 12.75” impeller and it is probably a true 2 HP motor, listed at 240V only. Between the 2, I’d get the Griz in a heartbeat. It will still cost more, since you will have to do something about those bags (1 micron or better is my starting point). But you might be able to sell those bags (others with 30 micron are often looking to upgrade) and at least get some of the cost back. Or go with the HF without the cartridge.
