A 12” wide requires a minimum cut depth in a lunchbox. If this were a 3” to 4” wide board you’d get away with up to 1/8” per pass. Often, if I know I have thicker stock, I’ll adjust my plans to use 1” boards instead of 3/4”. Saves time, looks beefier.
