I think it is a good deal. If I was router shopping, I would most likely buy it. My router-in-a-table is a plunge, incidentally, and every once in a while I take it out and use it as such. I like it for that instead of the other routers I’ve got, because the one in my table is fairly small (physically) and I find it easier to handle. Have fun with that router bit set! When I got my router table I also got a huge variety pack – they’re not the greatest router bits in the history of woodworking, but honestly they work fine (just for not as long as an expensive single bit)—I finally wore out my .5” roundover recently..
