Joel,
Since spiral pipe is expensive, look at heavier gauge snaplock.
For my Grizzly 2 hp, I used 26 ga Greenseam brand thru Grainger. They also have 24 ga. Purchased in boxes of 5 pieces. It has a neoprene-type of product in the snap and on the tube ends for better seal, but other than that, its snaplock. If you can pickup at a store, its very reasonably priced.

I got my saddles and elbows from Air Handling Systems, in their “hobby” product line.
Good prices, but shipping is pretty high – call for a shipping quote. They’re very helpful.

I used Menards band clamps to connect a lot of it. Great for connecting 2 male fittings. Its nothing more than sheet metal with hose clamp ends riveted to it. Add some sheet metal screws like John posted above, and you’re set.

Duct is a jigsaw puzzle to figure out a good design, but in the end, you’ll enjoy it
