On out door projects that have exposed screws I use stainless steal. I buy mine from Louis and company their not cheep but they keep your customers happy by having a good looking piece of furniture that they can tell their friends where they got them from,instead of a bunch of rusty hardware that makes you work look like crap. Just my 2 cents
