Some of you may be wondering why I am selling my beloved PM66, we moved 2 years ago from the country into town, my old shop was 2300 sq ft, my “new” shop is 860 sq ft.I have tried many different ways to incorporate all of my tools, the PM 66 takes up a quarter of the shop, what with the saw plus infeed and outfeed tables, and dust collection fittings, I can’t fit all of it in so it is usable. I have a Delta bench top saw in my son’s basement that I think I can work into my shop. the drum sander is just too big, as is the horizontal belt sander, I do have a Jet 10” drum sander that is sufficient for what I am doing now, it takes up less room than the grizzly. also I have cut down on bigger projects and just doing small things, such as segmented bowls and I just started carving, so I can keep busy enough with those projects.
