Most of the Poles I know are from Warsaw. I used to have a friend, he called that fishing implement a Pole They are Rods. Rods and Poles are not interchangeable. Now a poll is just a good way to start a pissin match. We don’t need any help getting one of those started; and that you can run up a pole. Then there’s the north pole and conversely the south pole. and finally there’s a pole hole that you can fashion with a post hole digger. Then you can put the pole in the hole. and so on.
